The Winery
Tenuta Sant’Anna: the wine to celebrate every day
We at Tenuta Sant’Anna have a clear philosophy: to make high-quality wines to be discovered and enjoyed throughout a whole meal. For this reason, we have been pioneers in making single-varietal wines.
Ours was one of the first winery deciding to focus on the production of Prosecco, which over the years has become our flagship category.
Ever since the beginning, our project has always been contemporary, as well as contemporary are our bottles and the variety of the range of wines we offer. A rich and complete selection, that includes various typical wines from the finest areas of Veneto and Friuli: wines that have been designed to accompany every occasion.

Our History
Where the history of wine looks towards the future
Our wine company was founded in the 1960s, on the border between Veneto e Friuli, two regions known for their vocation for viticulture ever since Roman times. While remaining faithful to tradition and to the characteristics of the terroir, over the years we have succeeded in evolving and integrating technological innovations with the various skills we have learned in and around our vineyards. We are one of the most important producers in north-eastern Italy, and we have never been afraid to make crucial changes in order to get where we are today.
The terroir
A terroir that is unique in its richness and variety
Our wine company covers 300 hectares, divided up between three properties, lying between the plains near the sea and the foothills of the Dolomites, following the border between Veneto and Friuli-Venezia Giulia. Such a vast area obviously presents diverse characteristics and changes completely from zone to zone. In the flat part, we find soils characterized by an agglomeration of clay and loam that solidifies in the sun and which lies on top of an extremely ancient, impervious soil known as “caranto”. The hilly zone has a terroir of clayey marl alternating with layers of sandstone, which confers on the grapes – and later the wine – distinctive characteristics such as body, colour, tannins and minerality.

The wines
Innovation at the service of efficiency and sustainability.
At Tenuta Sant’Anna we continue to invest in the future in order to improve. For us, innovation and technology are two important aspects of our production approach. Our monitoring systems control each stage of the production process: from the grapes to the wine. We oversee, manage and control the entire production cycle, from the vineyard to the bottle, so that every single glass of wine contains the very best of the production of our zones.
DISCOVER ALL WINESVineyard
A single large plot that contains more than 600,000 vines; the vineyard is entirely owned by the company. This is our guarantee of quality and our link with the terroir.
Winery
Soft pressing of the grapes, control of temperature, and control of the prise de mousse in order to enhance tastes and bring out the nuances from every bunch.
Harvest
At the beginning of each year we decide which plots will be used for each wine, constantly monitoring their development. From August onwards, we take weekly samples, to pick at just the right degree of ripeness for vinification.
Monitoring
Thanks to an ISO 9001certified monitoring system, we can identify the vineyard plot from which the grapes used for the vinification of each bottle come.
