A sip of elegance

An ancient indigenous Friulian red grape variety that is very widespread and appreciated, Refosco hides, behind an apparently rustic character, the ability to give life to great wines of extreme elegance. The nose expresses fruity aromas reminiscent of reminiscent of cherry, blackberry, tangerine along with notes of sweet tobacco. The palate opens severe, then gives way to more complex aromatic sensations; it has tannic texture of great elegance, it is fresh and spicy persistence in the finish.

Pairings

It goes perfectly with game-based first courses, grilled meat main courses (perfect with grilled picanha), pork ribs and knuckle, jugged hare. Excellent with traditional Friulian dishes: cotechino, musetto with brovvada and jota.
